In November-December 2013 CAHR MA and LLM students did a 2-week placement with a local NGO in either Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Cape Town (South Africa) or York (UK). The fieldwork forms an integral part of their course work.

Some of the students have now shared their experiences on what it is like to work with a local partner and get fully immersed in practical, grassroots human rights work.
