Libertea - Testimonies of Freedom

Posted on 19 June 2013

CAHR's Leverhulme Artist in Residence is collecting testimonies of freedom - read how you can participate.

This summer, if you live in York or are visiting the city, look out for hand-stitched tea bag books left around the city. The books have been made to collect testimonies of freedom; memories, poems, definitions, stories, metaphors, that speak of what freedom means to you.

Please return your completed tea bag book to any York City Council library or alternatively, you can post your tea bag book to the Centre for Applied Human Rights.

All returned tea bag books will be used as part of an art installation, for more information please visit Juliana Mensah's human.writes.city blog.
