CAHR staff speaks on International Refugee Law in Japan

Martin Jones is an invited speaker at a regional workshop providing training to lawyers and paralegals on international refugee law and refugee legal aid.

The workshop, on judicial engagement and due process of law, is hosted by the Japan Association for Refugees and the Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network, and will bring together more than four dozen refugee lawyers from around Asia in Tokyo from 8 to 11 September 2013.

As part of his visit to Japan, Martin will also meet with Japanese refugee lawyers, local civil society and government representatives to discuss refugee protection in Japan and East Asia.
