Azza Soliman's lecture will discuss women's issues and suffering in the private and public spheres in Egypt – and the relation between the two. A particular focus will be given to how violence in the domestic sphere prevents women's public participation.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session.
This talk is part of CAHR's Learning from HRDs lecture series where visiting human rights defenders from across the world discuss current human rights issues they face in their work.
