First Aider Requirements for Different Areas of Biology

General and specific considerations were used as a basis for the recommended number of FAs appropriate for each area of Biology, as detailed in the table below.

Minimum First Aider Requirements for Department = 24 plus  6 Teaching Lab Technicians

Note: additional first aiders may be required for activities external to the departmental buildings e.g. field work activities
