Autoclaved Waste
- Autoclaved waste is disposed of as non-hazardous identifiable lab waste via the ‘tiger’ bag (alternative treatment) disposal route
- Bags to be fastened & tagged with a coded cable tie before disposal in the external bins and recorded in the folder provided
- Do not overfill to ensure they can be handled safely (an individual handling a bag must not exceed their own limits)
