Mental Health

Good mental health means being able to think, feel and react in the ways that you need to live your life. If you go through a period of poor mental health you might find how you're thinking, feeling or reacting becomes difficult, or even impossible, to cope with. The Universities Employee Assistance Programme (login required) can give you independent, free and completely confidential telephone support, online resources and, where appropriate, face-to-face counselling.

Presently, there is also access to the Mental Health First Contact Network: a network of trained staff who are a first point of contact if you are experiencing emotional or psychological distress
