Minimum increase of 1.8% for staff in grades 1-8
The national pay award, which will provide York employees with a minimum salary uplift of 1.8%, is effective from 1 August 2019 and will be paid in August.
The pay award provides for an increase of £400 for staff on points 2-16 of the national pay spine.
At York, this means that most staff in grades 1, 2 and 3 will receive an increase of more than 2%.
