We're looking for volunteers to join the RIE team
Are you interested in making collaborative change happen at York? Do you have a natural curiosity about how things work and a desire to make them work better?
We are currently accepting applications for volunteers to join the Rapid Improvement Event team. We are looking for interested employees from all parts of the University.
There are no essential qualifications for the role but priority will be given to those with previous experience in facilitation and lean techniques. Full training will be given to those joining the team.
Briefing session
A briefing session will be held from 11:30—12:30 on Tuesday 18 June in the Piazza Building (PZA/106-107), for interested staff to get a better understanding of the role. Please register your intention to attend through the form below.
Training dates
Training for succcessful applicants will take place on:
- Date: 20 & 21 August 2019
- Time: 09:00 to 17:00 (both days)
- Location: C/A/102, Chemistry A Block
Please ensure before applying that you are available on these dates.
Commitment
You will need to commit to, and be able to undertake, approximately 8 days RIE preparation and facilitation each year.
