Students with no prior background in Linguistics or Psycholinguistics take Conversion Route , and students who have already studied the equivalent of one or more of the Conversion route modules take Prior experience Route. The programme leader will help you decide which route you should take.

Dissertation - LAN00047M - 60 Credits.
Language Acquisition and Development Pathway.
Semester 1 (for both conversion and prior experience route) Psycholinguistics: First and Second Language Acquisition LAN00092M - 20 Credits. Two option modules in linguistics, at either introductory level (conversion route) or advanced level (prior experience route)	Semester 2 The Programme leader will discuss with you the best modules for you to study, based on your prior background and the modules you studied in Semester 1. Quantitative Methods LAN00033M - 10 Credits. Experimental Methods in Psycholinguistics LAN00081M - 10 Credits. One option module. The options available to you will be confirmed after you begin your course.		Dissertation - LAN00047M - 60 Credits.
