The Tarbat Discovery Programme is an archaeological research project of the Department of Archaeology, University of York, UK. The fieldwork is being carried out by Field Archaeology Specialists Ltd who act as the University's principal contractor.

Sponsorship

The Research Programme has been sponsored by Ross and Cromarty District Council, Ross and Cromarty Enterprise, Highland Council, the Heritage Lottery Fund and the University of York. Its results are being offered in support of the Tarbat Discovery Centre, a Museum and Visitor Centre which is being created at Tarbat Old Church by the Tarbat Historic Trust, in partnership with the University and Highland Council.
