1. Get yourself tested: 1 in 3 people do not display symptoms

The rapid results lateral flow tests are available to everyone, and we have a testing centre on campus which we share with the City of York Council. The test is quick, and the results normally reach you within the hour.

2. In York? Use our on-campus testing centre

It’s quick and easy to book a test via the City of York Council website. You can take your test on Campus West at the Sports Centre.

3. On campus regularly? Get tested every week

We recommend two tests each week, three days apart.

4. Living off campus? Get a test to help protect our community

Knowing whether you have Covid means that you can protect those around you by self-isolating if you need to. We’re all in this together, and we can protect each other.

5. No matter what the result, keep following hands, space, face

Your test result is a snapshot in time, so if it’s negative keep following the guidance - it’s the best way to ensure that your next test is negative too.
