1. Now’s the time to plan for your future

York Strengths Development Days are interactive sessions for postgraduates to discover their strengths, support their personal development and identify careers that suit them. Find out more about York Strengths Development Days.

2. Wonderful ways of working with data in a spreadsheet

It's one thing getting some data; it's another thing knowing what to do with it. In this Academic Skills Community session on Wednesday 9 June, take a look at methods for finding, importing, and cleaning up data, and performing simple analyses in a spreadsheet.

3. Make an impact on climate change

Being Carbon Literate means you understand how climate change affects you and others and Carbon Literacy Training empowers you to make an impact in your workplace, community, university, place of worship, or another setting. Sign up to Carbon Literacy Training by Wednesday 9 June.

4. E-scooters, e-bikes and freebies

E-scooter and e-bike operator TIER are hosting an event on campus on Friday 18 June at the Market Square Pop-Up Park. The team will be demonstrating how to be safe on e-bikes and scooters, how they work, what routes are now open in the city and much more. We’re also giving away high viz jackets and reflective slap wraps. Pop along between 12 noon and 3pm. Find out more about e-scooters and e-bikes.
