Pop-up vaccine clinic
Check our covid page for students for updates about a possible pop-up vaccine clinic expected on campus this week.

Hidden disabilities and sunflower lanyards
If you have a hidden disability, you can wear a Sunflower lanyard to indicate you may need additional support or that you’re exempt from wearing a face covering on campus. We have a supply of Sunflower lanyards that can be collected from all college receptions. Find out more about hidden disabilities and sunflower lanyards.

1. Spring timetables update

Your timetable will be released on the afternoon of Thursday 16 December for the Spring Term. Read the spring timetable update for students.

2. Is it a scam?

We’ve been made aware of new scams affecting students, including a scenario where a caller first claims to be a parcel company and then advises the student they have been scammed for money laundering offences and they can help clear their name. Scammers’ methods can be sophisticated and convincing. Protect yourself - find out about student scams we’re aware of.

3. Plastics: an Interdisciplinary Conversation

Since 1950, there has been an estimated 9.2 billion tons of plastic produced, and by 2050 it is predicted there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish. On Wednesday 17 November, join the Student Law Clinic for their third annual Global Day of Action for Climate Justice and  discover how we can help mitigate the contribution of plastics to global warming and climate change. 4. Pushing through procrastination

Our latest wellbeing workshop is here to help you get to the bottom of your procrastination and discover practical techniques you can use to overcome this in your work. Taking place tomorrow (Tuesday 16 November), this session will also share services and resources for you to continue accessing afterwards. 5. Alcohol Awareness Week

Many of us drink alcohol for a variety of reasons, but drinking too much and too often can negatively impact both our health and the relationships we have with those around us.
