Profile

Biography

I began my PhD in September 2025 as part of the White Rose DTP, researching the lived experiences of gambling harm to spouses and cohabiting partners of gamblers in the UK. I am interested in how identities are continually reshaped and negotiated within intimate relationships and everyday life, and how these experiences intersect with themes of class, race, gender, and spatial deprivation. While my PhD is in Sociology, I hold a BA in Modern History and an MA in the History of Medicine and I am also an advocate of the inclusion of people with lived experience in research and policy.
