I joined the University of York in September 2024 to undertake my PhD in Sociology funded by the ESRC through the White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership. My research is an ethnographic exploration of the discourse on trans rights taking place in digital spaces by both trans activists and gender-critical feminists. I am being supervised by Dr Emily Nicholls, Dr Kath Bassett, and Dr Emma Casey.
I am also a PGR Student Representative for Sociology, as well as a GTA for Explaining Crime and Deviance (Semester 1) and Investigating Social Problems (Semester 2).
