Research

Overview

Ruchi’s research will explore the specific challenges of clinical trials in regenerative medicine, and aims to understand these challenges within a theoretical framework that incorporates STS perspectives on medical innovation, translational medicine and the sociology of expectations. The research is funded by the ESRC, and as a multi-discipline award the project will involve developing close links with doctoral students in the Biology department at the University of York, as well as clinicians and scientists working in regenerative medicine.
