Overview

Alice's research focuses on unconventional solutions to the housing crisis, specifically self-build tiny houses.

The research comprises both identity-level analysis regarding what 'types' of people live in tiny houses, and a structural level assessment of policy and legal barriers that face innovative housing strategies such as the absence of financial products, access to land, and planning policy.
