MigNet Sandpit Event: Planning Ahead

This one-hour event will be structured into three focused 20-minute blocks, with discussion, ideas, and open space to shape future events for the network.

Session one: Research exchange and network development

We’ll explore future directions for MigNet's research activities, including thematic priorities and collaborative opportunities. This session will also consider ideas such as developing a working paper series, establishing annual lectures, and expanding blog-based engagement.

Session two: Activism, engagement and campaigning

A space to think through how MigNet can strengthen its public-facing work. We’ll discuss strategies for activism, partnerships, and impactful engagement beyond academia.

Session three: Open sandpit – Creative and emerging ideas

An open forum for broader reflection. This session invites contributions on teaching, research collaborations, and new initiatives.

This sandpit is an opportunity to collaboratively build a forward-looking vision for MigNet, whether you have concrete proposals or early-stage ideas.
