That there is no simple, 'one size fits all' path. There is no right or wrong set of decisions to be made...provided you are continually developing and learning.

Believe in yourself and learn from every opportunity; even if it's a negative experience.

My advice about working in my industry

Make sure you understand every aspect of the role. Not only what's expected of you but the market,your customers and also your competitors.

What I do

Manage sales for a multi national medical devices company and market leader in the field of medical endoscopy. Oversee business on one of the largest grossing territories in the company.

Skills I use and how I developed them

Sales, presenting and general customer service skills. Data analysis and strategic planning. Developed from both my degree and also my teaching career.

What I like most

Contributing to large projects and hitting targets.

What I like least

The pressure isn't fun but you have to find a way to deal with it.
