Why I continued studying

To learn more about biomedical research and build analytical and critical thinking skills

What my course is like

First two years I have classes. In my first year, I also completed three rotations and chose one for my thesis lab. The rest is mainly doing research in the thesis lab, attend meetings and talk about my research.

How I have funded my studies

The graduate group provides funding for the first two years, then the principle investigator of the thesis lab funds my studies for the other years.

My advice to students considering further study

Start internship early. Gather as much experience as possible, so it looks good on the resume and prepares you for what is ahead.
