My advice to students considering work

Take part in anything that interests you at University, as you might not get the opportunity so readily in the future. Prepare a CV early and seek as much feedback and advice on job applications and career pathways as possible.

Skills I use and how I developed them

Besides the educational benefits and the impact on my career, my degree at York prepared me well for a full-time job and taught me valuable skills such as time management and organisation.

What I like most

I enjoy the varied elements of a career in Radiotherapy, from the physics and biology background to helping patients cope with their treatment and potential side effects
