A day in the life of a Manager in China

How studying in the UK affected my job seeking

How I searched for jobs:
After working in Britain for half a year, I went back to China to find my present job which I found online. There are websites such as www.51job.com and others which are great for searching for jobs.

Attitudes to study in the UK:
My case is different from other students, since I worked in UK for half a year. I also got the ACA qualification in the UK, which made it easier to find a job in China. I believe work experience is very important.

The recruitment process

The HR department contacted me for a telephone interview and then a face-to-face interview.

My advice to students considering work

My advice: try to prepare as early as possible. I started looking for a job when I was in my second year and got my ACA qualification in the third year. So it’s good to do the preparation as early as you can.

What I do

I consult on the merging of international companies.
