Always up for a challenge and new things to discover

Yes

Describe your most memorable day at work

When l discover something new

Are there any challenges associated with your job?

Yes. Most of the work l do is different than what l did before, but it is exactly why l like my job.

What’s your work environment and culture like?

Young and motivated group

What extracurricular activities did you undertake at university and what transferable skills did you develop through these?

During my PhD l administrated the Green Chemistry Network ‘’G2C2’’ for 2 years, which was born out of the need to promote more communication between the many green chemistry centres scattered around the world. I have organised the Annual Workshop and Symposium in 2018 and 2019 in Belgium and Brasil. I was also a team member of Green Impact, a sustainability accreditation program me used by nearly 400 organisations across the UK, which empowers their members to collaboratively address key issues to transform into a sustainable union and campus environment.

What would you like to do next with your career?

I am enjoying my job at the moment and working on improving my cv by learning new skills.
