I'm researching the environmental impacts of agricultural activities in the EU

It is my first step to enter academia after completed my PhD study

Nope, it is a good start for my career development

Companied MSc students for the field trip to farms in England
Are there any challenges associated with your job?
Yes, especially the data availability and also new unfamiliar terms, which is a bit different than my PhD research
What’s your work environment and culture like?
Quite similar when I was in the Department of Environment and Geography, York. Multicultural, and multiracial.
What extracurricular activities did you undertake at university and what transferable skills did you develop through these?
I played netball for Wentworth College and also played for York local netball tournament
What would you like to do next with your career?
More to research and academia. I open to any location too
What top tips do you have for York students preparing for today’s job market and life after graduation?
I applied for my current job while waiting for my viva and I got the interview invitation a few months after that. My advice is don't wait until last minute, just apply if you got a chance.
