Lucy has particular expertise in managing citizen science projects which work with a range of participants, from school children and allotment-holders, to non-governmental organisations and policy-makers. Many of the projects Lucy manages involve interdisciplinary teams, and she enjoys developing bespoke ways of working for each of her projects. Lucy also provides support for the sustainable consumption and production group. Alongside this project management work, Lucy is co-ordinator for the Citizen Science research group and the SEI Ethics Subcommittee.
Recent projects include the SAMHE initiative and CHEPA for which Lucy has worked closely with our in-house software development engineers providing them with working briefs and monitoring work plans for them in GitHub, using Agile project management methodologies.
Lucy has a BA Open degree from The Open University comprised of modules in International Development, Environmental Policy and French.
