Climate Talk focuses on creating awareness and changing attitudes in the 50+ age group in North Yorkshire.

Climate Talk aims to change public attitudes in North Yorkshire by engaging people in discussion and debate using local radio, local press, public seminars, the internet and art. Climate Talk, begun in 2007, was led by the Stockholm Environment Institute at the University of York in collaboration with BBC Radio York, The York Press and Fifty-Nine Ltd. It is being supported by Freeplay, First Bus and Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate.

Climate Talk provides the opportunity for the public to put questions to key experts in the field at a number of public seminars on different aspects of the climate change.
