InterFace

We have developed a MATLAB application that allows users to carry out various types of manipulation and analysis with face images.

This is a standalone application that does not require MATLAB to be installed on your computer. In addition, no programming knowledge is needed as the software is based around a graphical user interface.

Versions of this application are available for both Mac and Windows computers.

Note:
If you do not already have 'MATLAB Runtime' installed on your computer (which is free of charge), we provide software to download this and install it in the right place on your computer.  You will only have to do this once, but it does take several minutes to download/install so please be patient.  Please read the README file in the download area for instructions.

In addition to the InterFace application, we have also provided:

- A software guide, which will take you step-by-step through the process of landmarking images, running a PCA, creating averages, etc.

- Some example images that have already been landmarked using the software and are ready to include in a PCA etc.

- A Converter MATLAB application, which will allow you to convert shape files for use in both InterFace and Psychomorph
