The Department of Philosophy at the University of York  is pleased to announce the second in a series of seminars on the Beatific Vision, sponsored by the Analytic Theology Project at the University of Innsbruck.

Simon Kittle is a post doctoral research working on the Analytic Theology Project at the University of Innsbruck. He is interested in the nature of divine and human freedom, and will be presenting on the topic of grace and shared agency.

'Can the phenomenon of shared agency be used to model the operations of God's grace, and if so, how?  In particular, can it help the Christian to make sense of how fallen creatures who nevertheless have free will come to faith?  This talk considers these questions via a critical engagement with Kevin Timpe's recent work on cooperative grace.'

Spaces are limited. Please RSVP by Monday 5th December to dw521@york.ac.uk .
