We encourage the use of online payments wherever possible. If none of your credit cards are successful, please ask a relative, friend or neighbour to use their credit card to make a payment for you.
Yes, see previous answer above.
You will need to make an online payment of £300 within e:Vision when you accept an offer of Accommodation. This is the booking fee for the room and it will be deducted from your first term’s rent.
You can complete the whole process of accepting an offer for Accommodation with your username and password through e:Vision. However, as part of this process, when prompted for the advanced payment for my booking, another person can enter their card details on the specific payment screen, it does not have to be your own credit or debit card.
Check you have input your card details (card number, card type, expiry date, security code) and address correctly, make sure the address you input is the one that your card issuer has on their records (i.e. the address on the statement). The postcode finder is a useful tool - this is for UK addresses only.
Are you having problems trying to pay using Internet Explorer 6? This is a known issue, please try again using a modern supported browser such as IE11, Google Chrome52, Firefox48, Safari6, Opera12, or higher etc.
Please be assured that we will not take money from your account for the attempts to pay that have not been successful. When an unsuccessful attempt has been made, the card issuer sets aside the money for payment and your balance may show a temporary reduction. This will be removed after a few days by the card issuer.
