CMS Alumna, Dr Hollie Morgan, collaborates with electronic musician Scanner in a project entitled "If Books Could Talk". Follow this story to find a link to a recording of their recent performance in Lincoln.

Dr Hollie Morgan (PhD York, 2015) has been collaborating with the sound artist, Scanner, on a project involving Lincoln Cathedral Library collection, entitled If Books Could Talk.  The project was funded by University of Lincoln and culminated in a performance on 20th September at the Lincoln Arts Centre. There is a recording of this performance available (free to listen here) where you will hear Hollie as main narrator (and author of the entire script), reading in Middle English from Chaucer and the Lincoln Thornton, bringing manuscripts to life accompanied by the soundtrack of artist Scanner.  (Scanner is giving a performance this week at the University’s Jack Lyons Hall (unrelated to this project).
