Writing assessment in language teaching: Maximising the potential of formative assessment

The workshop provides a forum to discuss the use of formative assessment opportunities and how we can harness technological tools to enhance our teaching of writing. A short presentation will introduce discussion around two topics:

  1. The design of motivating tasks
  2. Formative feedback, with reference to various technologies such as online blogs and screen-capture tool
