The Department of History is delighted to announce that the British Academy has awarded a mid-career fellowship to to support the completion of his latest research project, The Scale of Beings: Race, Colonization and the Prehistory of 'Separate But Equal'. Of nearly 200 applicants for this year's competition, only 22% received awards.
The Mid-Career Fellowship scheme exists both to support outstanding individual researchers with excellent research proposals, and to promote public understanding and engagement with humanities and social sciences.
