2012/13 Modules for Stage 3 English / History of Art Students

Autumn 2012	Spring 2013		Summer 2013
EITHER 2 English Special OR Period Modules (2 X 20) or a Special Subject History of Art Module (choose from available options; 40 credits) OR	EITHER 2 English Special OR Period Modules (2 X 20) or a Special Subject History of Art Module (choose from available options; 40 credits)
Year-Long Special Subject History of Art Module (choose from available options; 40 credits)
Bridge Dissertation (compulsory; 40 credits)

As well as their Bridge Dissertation and their option modules in the English Department, combined English / History of Art students must choose:

one special subject module to study in the Autumn Term of Stage 3 AND
one special subject module to study in the Spring & Summer Terms of Stage 3

Alternatively, students can choose to take year-long, 40-credit special subject modules in place of the modules described above.

IMPORTANT NOTES

History of Art modules cover three chronological period bands: A (medieval), B (early modern) and C (modern). Combined History of Art of students are required to choose modules from at least two of the three period bands over the course of Stages 2 and 3.
