Kevin Killeen gives talk at the Royal College of Physicians

Posted on 13 November 2017

In this free lecture, on 15 November 2017, Dr Kevin Killeen explores the intellectual world of Sir Thomas Browne; his experiments, how he understood the mesh of science, the humanities and religion.

Dr Killeen's talk, entitled The cusp of life and death: Sir Thomas Browne and the religion of a physician, is part of the AHRC-funded project that Killeen is working on with colleagues from Queen Mary, London, and elsewhere ‘The Oxford Works of Sir Thomas Browne’.

It includes an exhibition at the Royal College, running from January to December 2017, A cabinet of rarities: the curious collections of Sir Thomas Browne.
