Nahid is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Related Studies at the University of York. She holds a PhD in Development Economics and an MSc in Economics, both from the University of Manchester, and is a Teaching Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her research focuses on development economics, particularly on topics related to poverty and inequality.
