Biography

Zhechun is a PhD student affiliated with the Applied MicroEconometrics cluster (AME) at the Department of Economics and Related Studies, University of York. Her PhD is funded by an ESRC (Economics and Social Research Council) +3 (3-year) Studentship for PhD (White Rose DTC, England). Her current research studies the role of housing in household decision making over labour supply, assets and consumption from both a theoretical and empirical point of view.

From April 2018, she joined the department as an Associate Lecturer.

  • Structural estimation of dynamic models of individual choice with applications to labour economics, consumption and household finance.
  • Applied microeconometrics.
  • Theoretical work on individual life cycle decisions on consumption, assets and housing.
