Jahen Rezki is a PhD Student in the Department of Economics and Related Studies (DERS), supervised by Dr. Giacomo De Luca and Dr. Andrew Pickering.
His research interests lie in the areas of Political Economics, Development Economics, Public Economics, the Economics of ICTs and Emerging Market Macroeconomics.
In particular he is interested in investigating the role of institutions and technology on economic performance.
Jahen was the finalist for the 2018 Vincent and Elinor Ostrom Prize at the Annual Meetings of the Public Choice Society.
Jahen obtained his MSc from the Department of Economics and Related Studies, the University of York (2013) and BA in economics from Universitas Indonesia (2011). Before joining the University of York, Jahen worked for the Institute for Economic and Social Research (LPEM-FEB UI).
Research interests: Political Economics, Development Economics, Publics Economics, the Economics of ICTs and Emerging Market Macroeconomics.
