Profile

Biography

Gloria is a PhD Student at the Department of Economics and Related Studies, supervised by Cheti Nicoletti and Emma Tominey. Her research interests lie in the field of Applied Econometrics, Labour Economics and Family Economics, with a special interest in the relationship between parental inputs and child development. She has worked on topics including intergenerational mobility and the relationship between divorce and children outcomes. Her current research is concerned with estimating the production function of socio-emotional skills of children.

She obtained a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Bologna (October 2012) with a thesis on "Search and matching models in the Italian labour market" and a MSc in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Bologna (December 2014), with a thesis on "The intergenerational income mobility in Italy and its dynamics: Evidence from 2000-2012 SHIW".
