Module evaluations

Tell us what you think 

We aim to give you the best learning experiences on all your modules - and we cannot do this without your feedback. Please help us ensure that we produce teaching of the highest standard by completing the module evaluation surveys.

This short guide tells you more about module evaluations, how you can submit your comments, and what we will do with your feedback

How you can submit your feedback

  • The University uses a Student Evaluations Portal to collect feedback. You can access this portal on your phone, on a laptop or on a PC.
  • You will receive a link to complete surveys for each of your taught modules, each Semester. Project modules will be surveyed during Semester 2. You will be given time during lectures to complete the surveys. Overall, you have two weeks to complete your feedback before the surveys close.  Your responses are anonymous.

How we respond to your feedback

  • Students who have completed the surveys, will receive a copy of the numerical results. 
  • The Module Leader will answer reflection questions on their Staff Portal, which they can then send to all students on the module. This should be done within two weeks of the date on which the surveys end.
  • If you are dissatisfied with any of the responses from module leaders, please contact your Student Rep, and explain why you are dissatisfied. They will then bring it to the attention of Department staff through the most appropriate channels.

In the PDF documents listed below, you'll find students' module evaluation scores from previous years. Feedback from modules currently being taught will be published here at the end of the semester.
