  • 2020 Günther Laukien Prize for the development of SABRE (Signal Amplification by Reversible Exchange), joint recipient
  • 2018 Tilden Prize of the Royal Society of Chemistry for increasing the sensitivity of NMR spectroscopy through the inventions of the SABRE and SABRE-relay methods
  • 2011 University of York, Vice Chancellor’s Gold award for Outstanding Achievement in the Excellence Category for Research into Hyperpolarization (with Green)
  • 2008 Royal Society of Chemistry Prize for Magnetic Resonance
