From natural products to sustainable materials

The talk will provide a broad perspective of sustainable materials, as well as showing two specific examples: Gelators derived from natural products that show a broad range of gelation abilities and synthetic organic conductors of electricity where carrageenans are used as the counter-ions in the materials.
