Vijay GC is a Research Fellow in the Team for Economic Evaluation and Health Technology Assessment (TEEHTA). He joined the team in August 2017 from the University of East Anglia (UEA) where he was a Senior Research Associate in Health Economics. Prior to UEA, he held positions within the WHO Regional Office for Europe in Copenhagen and JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. in Nepal. He holds a double master’s degree in public health (MPH, advanced public health methods) from three European Institutions (University of Sheffield-UK, University of Copenhagen–Denmark and EHESP School of Public Health-France).
Vijay has worked on economic evaluation of health interventions and diagnostic test studies, and has expertise in decision analytic modelling and economic evaluation alongside clinical trials. He works on the economic evaluation of medical technologies for precision, personalised and person-centred healthcare projects with Prof. Andrea Manca.
