Biography
Joe Spearing completed his PhD in Economics at the University of Georgia in 2024, and joined CHE shortly afterwards. His PhD investigated the optimal design of disability benefits and the relationships between working conditions and mental health. Since joining CHE he has been involved in the REAL projects (supply and demand) focusing on long-term challenges for health and social care in England.
