Profile

Biography

Francesco joined CHE in May 2017 to undertake economic evaluations of social care interventions with Helen Weatherly and the Economic Evaluation and Health Technology Assessment team. He is also a Ph.D. student in Economics at the University of York supervised by Professor Luigi Siciliani. His thesis focuses on the efficiency and cost analysis of specialist orthopaedic hospitals and the effects of hospital competition on quality and efficiency.

Francesco holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Foggia (2009). He also obtained two master’s degrees in Economics, one in 2011 (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia) and the other in 2013 (University of Warwick).
