Profile

Biography

Liz is CHE’s finance and research support officer, assisting with the day to day finances for the Centre.  

She also deals with the finances for all TEEHTA (Team for Economic Evaluation and Health Technology Assessment) research projects/grants. 

After completing a Higher Diploma in Administrative and Secretarial Studies at York College, Liz started working at CHE in 2001.

Liz completed the Technician Level AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification in June 2010 and became a full member of the AAT in Sept 2010.

Departmental roles

  • Providing costings for research proposals, liaising with external organisations, and acting in an advisory capacity for researchers to assist with managing budgets for projects and events
  • Assist with reviewing and implementation for new finance procedures
  • Initiating and processing purchase orders, expense claims and invoices
  • Administration of financial arrangements for workshops & consultancy codes
  • CHE Travel Representative
