Biography

Kirsty graduated from Leeds University with a BA (Hons) in French and Arabic and an MA in Interpreting and Translation Studies. After graduating, she worked as an administrator in Leeds College of Building Student Services, and later at Teesside University Business School. In due course, Kirsty took a career break and became a full-time mum, during which time she undertook a distance-learning course with the Society of Indexers. Becoming an Accredited Indexer in 2012, she worked freelance around the young family. With the children now older, Kirsty felt it was time to move back into full-time employment and joined CHE in August 2022.
