Profile

Biography

Kath is a Project Coordinator, providing support for a range of research and Centre projects, largely focussing on Global Health, with particular experience in Central and South America. Kath is part of the team working on IMPACT, an NIHR Global Health Research Centre established to improve mental and physical health, a long term programme of work in collaboration with colleagues in Pakistan and Afghanistan. 

As a member of the CHE Data Governance Group, Kath also provides support for research data governance. She also has an interest in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and is a member of CHE’s Equality Diversity Action Team (EDAT), supporting activities and initiatives that promote equality, diversity and inclusion in the department, including delivery of our Athena SWAN action plan.

Kath graduated from the University of York with a BA (Hons) in English Language and Linguistics. Having moved to York for her studies, she chose to make it her home. Prior to joining CHE in 2019, Kath worked in a number of roles at a local business travel and events agency.
