The new integrated NHS and what it may mean for you

Thursday 13 January 2022, 2.00PM to 3.00pm

Speaker(s): Tom Clarke, Mtech Access

Abstract: The NHS is changing at an unprecedented pace as a result of planned change, the Covid pandemic and Brexit. Health and social care are coming together as Integrated Care Systems and this presents significant opportunities for improvements in health outcomes and equity, through a move to population health management.

This session will explore the structural and policy changes and their impact on healthcare practice. Beyond that it will look at how budgetary and financial arrangements are changing and the impact this will have on how services are commissioned, and value is perceived.

Attendees will develop their understanding of the health and care landscape in England, and identify ways in which it is likely that organisations will look differently at how they designing, deploy and measure the success of healthcare interventions. This in turn may inform how the gathering and interpreting of evidence may be approached in future.

Location: Zoom presentation (not recorded)
