Shang-Ting is a PhD student affiliated with Economic Evaluation and Health Technology Assessment (TEEHTA) based in the Centre for Health Economics. He is supervised by Professor Beth Woods and Dr Jessica Ochalek.

Overview
Shiang-Ting's studentship focuses on medicines' lifecycle pricing and value sharing, particularly how generic and biosimilar competition following loss of exclusivity influences pharmaceutical pricing and healthcare expenditure under incumbent health technology appraisal framework.
